SOON TO BE A NETFLIX ORIGINAL MOVIE A gripping feat of reportage that exposes—for the first time in English—the sensational life and mysterious death of Ashraf Marwan, an Egyptian senior official who spied for Israel, offering new insight into the turbulent modern history of the Middle East. As the son-in-law of Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser and a close advisor to his successor, Anwar Sadat, Ashraf Marwan had access to the deepest secrets of the country’s government. But Marwan himself had a secret: He was a spy for the Mossad, Israel’s intelligence service. Under the codename “The Angel,” Marwan turned Egypt into an open book for the Israeli intelligence services—and, by alerting the Mossad in advance of the joint Egyptian-Syrian attack on Yom Kippur, saved Israel from a devastating defeat. Drawing on meticulous research and interviews with many key participants, Uri Bar Joseph pieces together Marwan’s story. In the process, he sheds new light on this volatile time in modern Egyptian and Middle Eastern history, culminating in 2011’s Arab Spring. The Angel also chronicles the discord within the Israeli government that brought down Prime Minister Golda Meir. However, this nail-biting narrative doesn’t end with Israel’s victory in the Yom Kippur War. Marwan eluded Egypt’s ruthless secret services for many years, but then somebody talked. Five years later, in 2007, his body was found in the garden of his London apartment building. Police suspected he had been thrown from his fifth-floor balcony, and thanks to explosive new evidence, Bar-Joseph can finally reveal who, how, and why.

Sepher Rezial Hemelach is the longawaited first English translation of this famous magical text a translation from the ancient Hebrew in the rare and complete 1701 Amsterdam edition. According to Hebrew legend, the Sepher Rezial was presented to Adam in the Garden of Eden, given by the hand of God, and delivered by the angel Rezial. The myth thus suggests that this is the first book ever written, and of direct divine provenance. A diverse compendium of ancient Hebrew magical lore, this book was quite possibly the original source for later, traditional literature on angelic hierarchy, astrology, Qabalah, and Gematria. Moses Gaster mentions this in his introduction to The Sword of Moses (1896) suggesting that the Sepher Rezial could be a primary source for many magic and qabalistic books of the Middle Ages. Sepher Rezial Hemelach is a compilation of five books: "The Book of the Vestment," "The Book of the Great Rezial," "The Holy Names," "The Book of the Mysteries," and "The Book of the Signs of the Zodiac." It includes extensive explanatory text on the holy names of God, the divisions of Heaven and Hell, the names and hierarchy of the angels and spirits, as well as symbolic interpretations of both the Book of Genesis and Sepher Yetzirah. It also includes material on astronomy, astrology, gematria, and various magical talismans, most notably those used for protection during childbirth. In his introduction, Steve Savedow details the history, bibliographical citations, and lineage of this famous work. He lists the old and rare manuscripts still in existence, and provides a bibliography of other reference works for study of the Western esoteric tradition.

Until recently, microglia were thought to be the boring housekeepers of the brain, helpfully pruning away dead cells. But science now understands them to have a terrifying Jekyll and Hyde control over brain health. When triggered, they morph into destroyers, causing a wide range of issues. Under the right circumstances, however, microglia are indeed angelic healers, making repairs in ways that reduce symptoms and, now that we understand their true role, could one day prevent disease. A fascinating behind-the-scenes account of the science that identified microglia as our neurological immune system, The Angel and the Assassin also explores the promising medical implications of this game-changing discovery. Award-winning journalist Jackson Nakazawa (who herself has health issues explained by microglial behavior) follows three patients as they seek to reduce their psychiatric and cognitive issues through new treatments. Giving new meaning to the mind-body connection, these discoveries could rewrite psychiatry and medical texts as we know them. The Angel and the Assassin stands to change everything we thought we knew about how to heal our bodies and our brains.

There will come a time when you must decide to lead the life someone else has chosen for you…or the life you want. According to legend, when a young boy asked the great Renaissance artist Michelangelo why he was working so hard hitting the block of marble that would eventually become his greatest sculpture, David, the artist replied, “Young man, there is an angel inside this rock, and I am setting him free.” In The Angel Inside, the renowned consultant and career coach Chris Widener uses Michelangelo’s words to explore the hidden potential that exists within us all. In this unforgettable tale, Tom Cook, a disillusioned American businessman, has traveled to Italy looking for direction in his life. Knight *** "The Angel Chronicles is magic. It is a small book of big believing...it can change your life." Micheline Renauld *** The Angel Chronicles Books I-V The Guardian Angels by the Angel Auberon *** Auberon´s Words of Introduction At the very beginning God asked the Angel Auberon, the most noble of the Principalities, to chronicle the events of all time. Auberon did as he was asked. In the year 2001 Auberon requested permission to come to Earth to tell his story. Auberon came to us at The White Notebook (R) Library, entrusting us with the story he wished to give to those who lived on Earth. The story he left behind is one of love and of angel beneficence. It is entitled The Angel Chronicles. In his book, Auberon describes how the world was created, how human life on Earth began and how the angels forever found ways to make a meaningful contribution to human beings. We at The White Notebook felt that Auberon left us with not only his words but with a greater respect for our potential as human beings, with intelligent optimism and, for many of us, a return to hopefulness. *** We have listed for you below the Table of Contents and synopsis related to Book I. Book I The Primary Angels The Existence of Angels God Creates the Earth Silvond Names the Constellations The Twin Angels The Assignment of Guardian Angels The Guardian Angels According to Day of Birth The Angels in Guardiance of Domestic Pets The Primary Angels God decided that the time had come to create a universe of worlds. In it would be a planet called Earth. God sent the angels out from their home in the beyondness for He had decided that the Earth would be sung into existence by them. The angels set to begin their work. Their finely feathered wings carried them in flight until they reached the center of the vast space of time. There they stopped. They breathed their beautiful breaths as they looked about and considered what they were to accomplish. The angels first sang into existence the planets and stars and the sun and the moon. They next sang their angel music until the Earth was made. All things upon the Earth the angels next sang into being, the mountains and rivers, and also the variety of creatures God wished to inhabit the Earth. In this way the entire physical world emanated from purely spiritual beings: God and His angel emissaries. The angels thought they might rest. But Michael the Archangel came to them in a dream to remind them that they were also to sing into life the most wondrous of all creatures, the human beings. The angels were astonished. Nonetheless, they sang the most beautiful of alleluias and human beings were brought into existence. When the angels saw the first human beings walk about the Earth, they fell in love. It was inevitable that the angels would fall in l

Moses' struggle for life on the threshold of the Promised Land and his enigmatic death have captured the imagination of the Jewish people. From the early midrashic texts of the second century onwards, the dramatic and compelling story of Moses' death steadily evolved, manifesting itself in numerous versions. This panoramic view of the resultant thematic series uncovers a consistent dialectic perception of Moses and his death, embodied in a rather fixed narrative pattern, rich in folkloric motifs. Against the constant features of this series, individual differences among the versions reflect a literary-cultural process of change and development.

In this first volume of his magisterial study of the foundations of Mormon thought and practice, Terryl L. Givens offers a sweeping account of Mormon belief from its founding to the present day. Situating the relatively new movement in the context of the Christian tradition, he reveals that Mormonism continues to change and grow. Givens shows that despite Mormonism's origins in a biblical culture strongly influenced by nineteenth-century Restorationist thought, which advocated a return to the Christianity of the early Church, the new movement diverges radically from the Christianity of the creeds. Mormonism proposes its own cosmology and metaphysics, in which human identity is rooted in a premortal world as eternal as God. Mormons view mortal life as an enlightening ascent rather than a catastrophic fall, and reject traditional Christian concepts of human depravity and destiny. Popular fascination with Mormonism's social innovations, such as polygamy and communalism, and its supernatural and esoteric elements-angels, gold plates, seer stones, a New World Garden of Eden, and sacred undergarments-have long overshadowed the fact that it is the most enduring and even thriving product of the nineteenth century's religious upheavals and innovations. Wrestling the Angel traces the essential contours of Mormon thought from the time of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young to the contemporary LDS church, illuminating both the seminal influence of the founding generation of Mormon thinkers and the significant developments in the church over almost 200 years. The most comprehensive account of the development of Mormon thought ever written, Wrestling the Angel will be essential reading for anyone seeking to understand the Mormon faith.

The revealing events in the book are compelling and intriguing. They are powerful, intense, and realistically experienced. The author shares her personal experiences about two beloved family members who cannot tell their story about surrendering to dying. It is no secret that losing loved ones to death can be agonizing and challenging, but the death described in the book made an entrance in a beautiful manner. Death revealed moments of no defeat yet demanded attention from the author to grasp different perspectives about each beloved one. The captivating occurrences of how each beloved one expired are unique revelations that will ignite discussions. The author shares how she came to forgive the young man who murdered her brother and how the spiritual insight from God opened that door to forgiveness. The shared supernatural encounters that started during the author's childhood are regarded as hidden treasures beyond human knowledge. Some of those encounters were not of the Great Divine, but because of curiosity, the author got on a path leading to demonic practices unaware. The dreams in the book are phenomenal and another discussion piece for those who desires the interpretation of dreams. The hereafter is described dramatically and in the book points evidently to there being a life afar from the earthly realm. The childhood memories are remarkably described with love and no regrets. Those memories echo experiences and an environment that shaped the author's world. The strong belief system and faith in God is the pillar that gets the author through those life challenges and devastating situations pertaining to her beloved ones and the medical issues leaving her non-childbearing. The experiences with fibroids and how they formed in the uterus from a natural and spiritual side leave pondering thoughts. The fact of never having children is accepted by the author.
