The secrets we keep can sometimes have dire consequences. Three people with three different stories to tell, makes this a suspense filled drama. In the first story Rashard (a lucrative drug dealer) finds out the hard way, neglecting his lady Kanisha for the other woman can lead to betrayal in the worse way. Angel is a young girl in the second story, who desperately tries to hide a secret within. She slowly finds herself falling apart, as her secret gets bigger and bigger. The third story ties all three stories together in an unpredictable way. T-Zoe learns that robbing for a living creates karma. Will this Karma cost him his freedom, or possibly his life. Only time will tell.

"Crosby serves up suspense, secrets and Southern scandal like no one else!" —Harlan Coben, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author New York Times bestselling author Tanya Anne Crosby returns to the salt marshes and crumbling plantations of Charleston, where a gruesome murder and kidnapping reawaken fears of a serial killer on the loose. . . Augusta Aldridge believes in Ian Patterson's innocence, even after he was arrested for killing two young women. Now that another body has been discovered, and a thirteen-year old boy has gone missing, the police suspect a copycat killer, but Augusta is certain they have the wrong man. Sci-fi is very popular these days. We love our tech gadgets that do wonders that seem like miracles or magic. We can't get enough of it, in books, in movies and on television. We are on a train that no one knows for sure where it's leading us. Will technology be used to help us gain better control over our lives or will our lives become controlled by technology instead. What if the answer was both? The former wouldn't be cause for alarm but, the latter would be. Just how is technology going to control our lives and will it hurt? Tell No Lies But Keep Secrets takes the reader on a journey that's filled on the future of mankind and where technology should fit into the schema of man's existence. Tell No Lies But Keep Secrets is an action thriller with action scenes and fight scenes that would look awesome on the big screen. There are some unexpected twisted to the unusual fight scenes in the action thriller spy genre. What I like most about this story is, besides writing it, is the technology. Much of the technology in Tell No Lies But keep Secrets is fringe science but, some of it actually does exist with only bits of the full scope of the technology having been released to the public such as mind reading technologies. The future tech that was created for this story does not exist today but, there is a great possibility that it some day could. Tell No Lies But Keep will have the reader think about technology and its place amongst us. The reader is also taken on a journey that will have them pondering on what are the real truths and what are created truths of their very own existence.

My "Norman Rockwell" childhood was anything but that once you stepped into the painting. It was a life of clashes of violence with a mother indoctrinated in conservatism. My relationship with my mother ended in divorce. From the Bible Belt of the Tennessee Hills to the Hollywood Hills, Nob Hill and Capitol Hill, this is my tell-all odyssey of the underworld life of the Hollywood and Washington elite. A chance meeting one night with "Madame" Wayland Flowers landed me in Hollywood and into the life of the adult video stardom that led to modeling, male stripping and working in the escort services, leading to clandestine encounters with the Hollywood stars. And now after twenty-five years of silence, TELL SECRETS, TELL NO LIES, allows me to finally cast away the shadow that has followed me and reveal the shocking provocative world of malice, perversion, and delirium in this jaw-dropping memoir that defies the imagination. A little about me... I grew up in the bible belt of America and knew at a very early age my life's purpose would never be fulfilled living in that environment. On my seventeenth birthday I set out on my own journey to discover my true values and beliefs. My odyssey took me to New York, California, Washington D.C., and Texas. Along the way I met my life long companion David. I now reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. In reflecting on my past I can truly say I have lived my life to its fullest and I share that experience with each of you in my memoir TELL SECRETS, TELL NO LIES. As mentioned... With a foreword by Joycelyn Elders, M.D., No Secrets, No Lies is a powerful and daringly honest resource guide for families seeking to understand, prevent, and overcome childhood sexual abuse and its devastating impact on adult survivors. An estimated one in four women and one in six men is abused by age eighteen, most often by someone they know. Most of these sexual assaults are never disclosed, much less reported to the police. No Secrets, No Lies demystifies the cultural taboos and social dynamics that keep Black families silent and enable abuse to continue for generations. Among them: ?Fear of betraying family by turning offenders in to "the system" ?Distrust of institutions and authority figures, such as police officers ?Reluctance to seek counseling or therapy ?A legacy of enslavement and stereotypes about black sexuality Through compelling personal accounts from everyday people, Robin D. Stone, a sexual abuse survivor herself, illuminates the emotional, psychological and hidden consequences of remaining silent, and provides holistic, practical steps to move toward healing. No Secrets, No Lies candidly speaks to: survivors, telling them they are not at fault, not alone and how they can seek help; parents, guardians and caretakers, explaining how they can keep children safe and help survivors recover; and family, friends and other loved ones, showing ways to lend support.

The book itself; “Tell me no lies”, is about a middle aged recently divorced woman struggling to keep her sanity in a world she is naive to and blunders along bumping into one disaster after another. She believes herself to be independent and a strong woman but finds herself to be quite vulnerable and fragile suddenly entering a world of devious corrupt behaviour which envelopes her in fear and almost giving up, not knowing who to trust and then struggling financially to keep her head above water. Then events take a different turn once again. This book is amusing, sometimes sad but always positive.

“A twisted modern love story” (Parade), Tell Me Lies is a sexy, thrilling novel about that one person who still haunts you—the other one. The wrong one. The one you couldn’t let go of. The one you’ll never forget. Lucy Albright is far from her Long Island upbringing when she arrives on the campus of her small California college and happy to be hundreds of miles from her mother—whom she’s never forgiven for an act of betrayal in her early teen years. Quickly grasping at her fresh start, Lucy embraces college life and all it has to offer. And then she meets Stephen DeMarco. Charming. Attractive. Complicated. Devastating. Confident and cocksure, Stephen sees something in Lucy that no one else has, and she’s quickly seduced by this vision of herself, and the sense of possibility that his attention brings her. Meanwhile, Stephen is determined to forget an incident buried in his past that, if exposed, could ruin him, and his single-minded drive for success extends to winning, and keeping, Lucy’s heart. Lucy knows there’s something about Stephen that isn’t to be trusted. Stephen knows Lucy can’t tear herself away. And their addicting entanglement will have consequences they never could have imagined. Alternating between Lucy’s and Stephen’s voices, Tell Me Lies follows their connection through college and post-college life in New York City. “Readers will be enraptured” (Booklist) by the “unforgettable beauties in this very sexy story” (Kirkus Review). With the psychological insight and biting wit of Luckiest Girl Alive, and the yearning ambitions and desires of Sweetbitter, this keenly intelligent and supremely resonant novel chronicles the exhilaration and dilemmas of young adulthood and the difficulty of letting go—even when you know you should.

A shady financier visits his small hometown, a middle-aged divorc emerges from a life of drastic austerity and self-denial, a sick and dying professor discovers the healing touch of a former student. From the South African veldt to the barren Utah desert, from the green lawns of suburbia to moonlit Pueblo ruins, the people in Paul Rawlins's debut story collection brave the Big Questions about relationships, love, and death, finding more often than not that their happiness to just get by is not enough. Asking for truth or understanding, but hoping the answers will be simple, they struggle with feelings often too deep, too new, too disquieting to articulate. The voices we hear most often belong to men--good men who have somehow come up short on love, answers, peace, time. Like the pro football player with a torn-up knee in "Big Texas," the HIV-positive teen in "The Matter of These Hours," or the recovering heroin addict in "August--Staying Cool," they find that age, accident, or self-made circumstances have stolen their abilities, stung their pride, or worse. Dangerously distanced from the women they should have loved more, they draw closer to buddies, brothers, fathers, and sons. But like the alkali flats in "Good for What Ails You," transformed by flash-flooding into an inland sea, Rawlins's characters show themselves capable of quick and fundamental change. Farmers and soldiers, athletes and scholars, rebels and high rollers, they fit our preconceptions only in the shallowest sense. In the ways they connect with Rawlins's elemental imagery--sun, water, earth--these people play with our essential notions about men and women as they surprise themselves about their strengths, about what they really desire and what others desire in them.

Tell Me No Lies is a celebration of the very best investigative journalism, and includes writing by some of the greatest practitioners of the craft: Seymour Hersh on the My Lai massacre; Paul Foot on the Lockerbie cover-up; Wilfred Burchett, the first Westerner to enter Hiroshima following the atomic bombing; Israeli journalist Amira Hass, reporting from the Gaza Strip in the 1990s; Gunter Wallraff, the great German undercover reporter; Jessica Mitford on 'The American Way of Death'; Martha Gelhorn on the liberation of the death camp at Dachau. The book - a selection of articles, broadcasts and books extracts that revealed important and disturbing truths - ranges from across many of the critical events, scandals and struggles of the past fifty years. Along the way it bears witness to epic injustices committed against the peoples of Vietnam, Cambodia, East Timor and Palestine. John Pilger sets each piece of reporting in its context and introduces the collection with a passionate essay arguing that the kind of journalism he celebrates here is being subverted by the very forces that ought to be its enemy. Taken as a whole, the book tells an extraordinary 'secret history' of the modern era. It is also a call to arms to journalists everywhere - before it is too late.
