Explanation of the Book:

What if you were asked to take a chance and try something new? Would you examine the opportunity to see if it would be worth investing your time? What if you were told that it might be dangerous, but could ultimately be one of the greatest experiences of your life? You may wonder if you are capable. You might hope you don't make a mistake by making a commitment. You don't know for sure whether you will be safe, but you hope ... This book is about being ready for the greatest experience of your life! The stakes are high, and hoping is not going to be good enough. Ready or Not contains a warning for people of faith-a wake up call-that we can't afford to ignore. The Holy Bible states the day will come when Jesus will return for us and we need to be ready for Him. Linda Rytkonen shares humorous personal stories about how she first decided to learn how to ride a motorcycle and the opportunities and challenges she faced along the way. She ties these experiences together with her Christian faith and living a life of purpose, the way Jesus wants us to live until the day of His return. In Ready or Not, Linda exhorts us to do everything possible to be prepared so that we don't miss out on the wonderful celebration to come. Linda Rytkonen is a Christian writer and speaker who loves the Lord and has a desire to encourage and exhort others to live out their faith in love. She has developed her skills through training with Toastmasters International, Christian speaker programs and leading Christian ministries. Since the time she surrendered her life to Christ, Linda has felt called to let Christ's light shine through her for the glory of God.

Explanation of the Book:

This book is about the Lord Jesus Christ and who He really is. When we read the Bible, we should remember the principle: “The last revelation carries the greater weight.” The final revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ to the last living of His disciples, the apostle John, a short time before the apostle John was also to expire, was a final word to His beloved disciple, containing the most important things for the life of the Christian church. And since the last revelation carries the greater weight, we should embrace these last messages of the Lord with great care and believe these words, even if they would upset well-established doctrines in the churches. Only the Lord Jesus Christ is worthy to be praised, and He is the only one who deserves the attention of this book.

Explanation of the Book:

Right from the very beginning in eternity past, God had planned history with His Son having a bride, a companion that would co-reign with Him and enjoy Him forever. That is the eternal purpose of God in creating a bride for His Son. If you read the Scripture from cover to cover, you would discover that God teaches us in a variety of different ways. Sometimes God uses powerful word pictures, sometimes He uses symbols, sometimes He uses examples of people both good and bad. Sometimes God uses a direct word, an authoritative word, sometimes He uses examples from nature, like a tree planted by the rivers of water that will not cease to bear fruit. This book highlights how God gave us an example of an ancient Jewish wedding ceremony that correlates with Christ, the Bridegroom, and His bride the church. From the father choosing a bride for his son, paying the bridal price, the bridegroom snatching his bride and bringing her to the bridal chamber, and then finally co-reigning with him in their household with him as the head. It is absolutely amazing the correlation between the two. What was a mystery to the Jews has been revealed. The mystery was that both Jew and Gentile called the church would be the bride of Christ. The bride of Christ is describing the kind of relationship we can have with Jesus. God is seeking willing lovers, who would voluntarily seek His heart, voluntarily surrender to Him, and voluntarily love Him with all their heart, soul and mind, and strength.

Explanation of the Book:

Interpreters of Matthew's Parable of the Wedding Feast (22.1-14) typically associate the 'king' with God and then justify his violent attacks against city and guests; interpreters of the Parable of the Ten Virgins (25.1-13) typically associate the 'bridegroom' with Jesus and then justify his extreme rejection of the 'foolish virgins.' Questioning such allegorical interpretations, this study first details how Hebrew, Greek, and Roman texts depict - without requiring allegorical understandings - numerous bridegrooms associated not only with joy but also with violence and death. Second, this project appeals to the disruptive nature of parables, the feminist technique of resisting reading, and the Matthean Jesus's own ethical instructions to argue that in the parables, those who resist violent rulers and uncaring bridegrooms are the ones worthy of the Kingdom. The study then shows how the Matthean Jesus - the brideless, celibate bridegroom -- creates a fictive family by disrupting biological and marital ties, redefining masculinity, and undermining the desirability of marriage and procreation. Explanation of the Book:

The book of Revelation is exciting! Yet, too many today think it to be boring and hard to understand! I think it is just the opposite. If you take the book from a literal perspective, the "unveiling" fits, and it creates a perfect panorama of man's final days. long with the text, I have created a practical application for our lives today. Revelation is relevant, and it permeates the reader with God's last word to mankind.....His Son Jesus Christ! The final invitation alone is worth the time spent to enjoy the "book."

Explanation of the Book:

This book reveals Bible prophecies that show us we are living near the end of time. Author, Dr. Jimmie Chapman says, "The signs are everywhere and we need to be observant. History proves that the ancient Bible prophecies concerning the nation of Israel and the coming of Christ, were accurately fulfilled. "We as Christians, the people of God, should not fail to recognize the signs that God is giving this generation," "The generation that is alive right now could see the end of the world as we know it. The world is rapidly moving toward the one world government, the Beast which both Daniel and John prophesied to rule the world in the last days." "The Beast is here now and is in the advanced stages of its formation. Its military arsenal already exists in entities like the UN, the US, NATO, the EU, China Russia and others. The beastly government that will control all that military hardware is slowly and subtlety taking form behind the scenes in what has been called, "The New World Order,"

Explanation of the Book:

""Be holy, for I am holy"" (Leviticus 11:44). God wants His people to be holy. But, how do we do it? What does it really look like to be holy? The book of Leviticus is essential in understanding what it means to be holy. Unfortunately, it has largely been neglected in study over the years by believers in Jesus Christ. What if God gave specific principles in Leviticus that would be vital for our relationship with Him? What if He told us how to be holy? What if He told us how we are to worship Him? Join us as we walk through Leviticus together, chapter by chapter, and see how we should live in light of God's Word. We will learn what it means to be holy. We will look at the offerings instructed by God and see how Jesus ultimately fulfills each. We will examine the yearly feasts and discuss the importance behind each in its original context. Leviticus is such a rich book. Let's walk through it together. Join me.

Strange Work

Explanation of the Book:

Strange Work is a verse by verse commentary on the Bible book of Revelation. Nearly three millennia ago, the prophet Isaiah predicted that the Lord God of hosts would one day rise up and do a strange work on the Earth. He said it would come as a destruction upon the whole earth (Isaiah 28:21-22). The last thing that modern man expects is that the true and living God will one day actually intervene upon the Earth. Yet, with one voice, the prophets of the Bible predict that is exactly what He will do. The book of Revelation is the most detailed of the Bible's prophecies of that fast approaching supernatural intervention on planet Earth. Someone has dubbed the book of Revelation, ""The prophetic Grand Central Station of the Bible."" That is a very good way to describe it. All the great eschatological (end time) themes in the Bible run to the book of Revelation like train-tracks to a central hub.
