there are two sides to every breakup. This is Jordan and Courtney, totally in love. Sure, they were an unlikely high school couple. But they clicked; it worked. They're even going to the same college, and driving cross-country together for orientation. Then Jordan dumps Courtney -- for a girl he met on the Internet. It's too late to change plans, so the road trip is on. Courtney's heartbroken, but figures she can tough it out for a few days. La la la -- this is Courtney pretending not to care. But in a strange twist, Jordan cares. A lot. Turns out, he's got a secret or two that he's not telling Courtney. And it has everything to do with why they broke up, why they can't get back together, and how, in spite of it all, this couple is destined for each other.

A-ways back, back beyond the early 1960s I wrote some rhymed lyrics for a few friends of my father, who used them for playing in their home bands. As time went on, I wrote more but didn't even think about putting these in a booklet or having any means of documenting their ownership. A few years later a shipmate of mine looked at and became interested in my few saved works. It was now in the end part of 1961 when I started haphazardly keeping a little book (attempting to keep a record) of some of my song lyrics, song poems, song ballads and even a few thoughts or ideas to be useable in movies or as concert fillers. I do NOT sing myself and as such never had the training to put my words to music vocally. Still my collections grew. Thus to interested and/or musical friends: "FOR YOU". Explore these lyrics to find something you would be willing to take a second long look at, with the hope or thought of being able to use it in your jam session or musicale. Please contact if you wish to use these lyrics.

This book is written to help students who are facing challenges in their lives succeed in the school system. Students gaining insights from peers, were important outcomes linked to how to become leaders. I believe it was accomplished by creating an atmosphere where students can dream, believe, and be energized in learning. In knowing the dynamics about me that only can be given by God that had a personal relationship in building confidence to convince my students that He will make a way out of no way in their lives. The process for writing has been challenging but I know that God gave me a vision that inspired me. He drove me to do the things by accepting and inspiring me to bring people closer to Him. God placed me in this place to be a role model. I have spent nearly twenty years of my life being a leader. Leadership creates change in students to believe in taking chances that could change their lives. Students witnessed some dynamic gifts of confidence in me convincing them that God would make a way. A result of this gift gave me the capability to encourage my students to become leaders. Ultimately, the core role of an educator is just like what my pastor said to me that, “God set me apart to be a leader and make life better for someone else.”
Love was forbidden inside my home. As a child, I did not understand why my mother seemed to take pleasure in watching me suffer. I spent years searching for love. It was one thing I would trade my life for, and I relentlessly laid my heart on the line, causing myself even more pain. Another chapter of my life had unfolded, but it was still riddled with torment that did not seem to end. But despite everything, I accept each test that life gives me, knowing that even when the world turns away from me, God never will.

The author is Richard Jacks and he presently resides in Hammond, Louisiana. Jacks has been writing all of his life, but did not understand its purpose. That is probably why he did not take it seriously, he would write down whatever came to mind. Over the years, the purpose of Jacks¿ writing became clearer to him, and I he understood that it was a talent. As Jacks has gone on in life, he has worked as a waiter in his younger years. He then moved on to working at a bank. He gained more experience in the work field, and became a steel worker. He was also in the union and a union leader. Once he retired from there, he took his writing very seriously, and this book was born.
