Explanation of the Book:

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. By changing your mind, you change your life. Change is inevitable and usually occurs at the most inopportune times. What if you could control or channel the change in a manner you dictate? What if you could create your ideal life in the way you decide? Would you take the leap of faith or would you roll along the same path hoping and praying things will just work out? In truth, there is no magic pill to make this happen overnight. However, there is the Law of Attraction (LOA). By understanding the Law of Attraction, you can recode your brain to create the life you desire from losing weight to manifesting money to living the life you have always wanted. This book will provide you both the understanding and the practical guidance on how the Law of Attraction can change your life. By the end of the book, you will have the confidence to begin your own journey to obtaining anything you can imagine. You are only limited by the limits you put on your mind.

Explanation of the Book:

In 2002, just when the kids had finally left home and life was getting a bit easier, Jackie's husband came back from a conference and told her that he wanted to learn to ride a motorbike before he got too old. Jackie was first shocked and then horrified. Having witnessed a tragic bike accident in her early 20's she was very against the idea and tried to talk him out of it. Then slowly she got drawn into the fascinating world of biking and bikers until, overcoming her own fears, she took to the road on two wheels. Full of wry observations about bikers, both on and off bikes, amusing anecdotes and a self mocking account of Jackie's efforts to learn to handle her machine on her ever widening travels, this book shows us that motorbiking is not just about power, speed and big macho men in leathers.

Explanation of the Book:

MESSAGE TO MY READERS When I am seeking information about an unfamiliar topic and thumb through a book, I do not want to see a lot of prose that plays Ring Around the Rosie about irrelevant stuff. I am looking for solutions to serious problems and want to see the nitty-gritty of thematter laid bare, and presented in outline form, in a clear, precise, detailed fashion of what and what not to do. If you feel the same, this is the book for you. One of the biggest problems in the inn business is that a vast segment of your guests will not return, not because they do not like your inn, but because they want to explore newplaces. The book addresses this problem head-on and spells out the solution on a multitude of fronts, in easy-to-understand detail, using many lists and outlines, so that these non returning guests are replaced without you spending huge amounts for advertising. Another unique problem of the inn business is that your inventory, unlike a typical retailer's, will disappear if rooms are not rented. This is examined in depth, and solutions are presented to fill the rooms so the problem is kept to a minimum. What is really exciting is that this is not just another run-of-the-mill book about inn keeping. The author was not satisfied with the status quo of the usual business operation and set out to seek perfection. This was not achieved overnight, and every new idea went through many trials and errors before the perfect system was developed. Room supplies, for example, were first laid out in easy-to-reach display fashion in the closets on each floor. This gave way to having the supplies in plastic cabinets on wheels so they could be rolled into the rooms. This, too, turned out to be less than satisfactory because of the restocking problem. To convey what was needed foreach cabinet, two-way radios were tried, and even a video method was considered. Finally, the perfect system was developed and thoroughly tested. It is fully described in detail so the reader canduplicate it in his or her own inn.

Explanation of the Book:

One in six children in the developed world is diagnosed as having 'developmental or behavioural problems' - this book explains why and shows what can be done about it. Children throughout the developed world are suffering: instances of obesity, dyslexia, ADHD, bad behaviour and so on are all on the rise. And it's not simply that our willingness to diagnose has increased; there are very real and growing problems. Sue Palmer, a former head teacher and literacy expert, has researched a whole range of problem areas, from poor diet, lack of exercise and sleep deprivation to a range of modern difficulties that are having a major effect: television, computer games, mobile phones. This combination of factors, added to the increasingly busy and stressed life of parents, means that we are developing a toxic new generation. TOXIC CHILDHOOD illustrates the latest research from around the world and provides answers for worried parents as to how they can protect their families from the problems of the modern world and help ensure that their children emerge as healthy, intelligent and pleasant adults.
