I really liked Ai Yazawa’s distinct drawing style. Paradise Kiss lead me to NANA. Pet Shop of Horrors was really good, too. Planet Ladder seemed really strange to me, like a novice or an OEL manga artist did it, so I couldn’t stick with it. Shueisha’s You seems like a good place to get some manga drawn in a 90s-esque style. I’ll have to pick up some of these manga. Thanks for the recommendations via alphabet!

I want to, but sadly, I was waiting too long. Volume #3 in French seems to be out-of-print and #4 is hard to fine – so … I’m hoping Viz will pick it up
I like Enjoji Maki stuff better than Yuki Yoshihara.
